“Young Roberto Henríques has just moved into his new house in Patagual (Bio-Bio) with his family, where he has the intention to build his own winery as soon as possible. He works with three hectares of extremely old (200 years!) País vines. He produces 10,000 bottles now but hopes to make 18,000 from the 2017 vintage, which was ongoing when I visited him. He wants to focus on whites from the coastal part of Itata and the reds from Nacimiento (Monterrey) in Bio-Bio..”
